Assessment of Non-Native Plants

This logo was developed as a “sub-brand” for UF|IFAS Research at the University of Florida. Great care was taken provide a fresh aesthetic while adhering to the fundamental UFL standards of layout and branding. The result is a succulent logo mark comprised of clean line work and engaging contrast.

  • The mark must conform to the existing standards of the university. Produce a logo that highlights the academic study of invasive plants.

  • Pleasing colors and an emphasis on botanicals - specifically invasive grasses non-native to Florida - showcase the nature of the subject. Bold contrast and symmetry as well as the magnifying glass indicate the academic thrust.
